The Trains of Central Trains

Central Trains operate the majority of the trains through Ledbury on a core route between Hereford and Birmingham New Street. Recent changes have seen the vast majority of these trains routed via the faster route to Birmingham through Bromsgrove and some of these trains now also continue on to Derby and Nottingham. Even better news has been the introduction of the Class 170 Turbostar trains. These trains are one of the best, if not the best, design of the new generation of modern diesel trains, with large windows, comfortable seating and ample, wide doorways. With very reasonable fares, traffic to Birmingham has increased markedly in recent years.
